When loading a trailer ensure that the majority of the load’s weight is in the forward part of the trailer, this will reduce the risk of the trailer swaying. It is recommended a minimum 70-30 weight distribution towards the front of the trailer. This ensures that approximately 70% of the weight is positioned at the front end, while the back holds 30%. Proper weight distribution is crucial for safe driving because it reduces cargo shift and ensures the trailer remains stable when you are in motion.
